THE REAPER
The first type of Card is your Reaper. Reapers represent your main character and typically who your Deck is Designed around. Some Reapers will offer Skills to your Souls that can help turn the tide of Combat. A Reaper will have a Strike number and a GRD value with no ATK value. If a Reaper shows a ST-2 that reaper would have to be destroyed 2 separate times in Combat to be Destroyed. A few things to consider are the follwoing.
Your Reaper remains on your field at all times and starts face down at the beginning of a game.
Your Reaper does not need to match the Class of your Deck.
Some Reapers, those available in the Beginner Class Decks, won’t have Skills.
Your Reaper does not count towards your Deck size limit of 40-60 cards.

THE SOULS
The second type of card is your Souls. These will come in 3 types, Warrior-Soul, Ranger-Soul, and Mage-Soul. Each has their own position on your Field, and you can only control them in their specific positions. Souls have an ATK and GRD value and are used to clear your opponent’s field then strike down their Reaper to Claim Victory. A few things to consider are
You choose what Soul attacks and their targets.
Damage done lasts until the end of the turn and stacks.
You must overkill a Soul or Reaper to defeat it. I.E. a Soul with 2000 ATK that does Combat with a Soul with 2000 GRD does not destroy it. Another damage must be done to overkill the Soul.

THE CASTS
The last type of card is Casts. Casts are power spells your Souls and Reaper can use to help turn the tide of Combat. Casts come in 3 verities, Standard, Quick, and Constant. Standard and Constant Casts can only be played on your turn outside of Combat. Quick Casts can be played at any time and as a reaction and Chain to another Skill or Casts. A few things to consider are.
-
Each Cast has a requirement, and your field must meet that requirement for you to use it. I.E if the requirement is Mage-Soul, you must control a Mage to use the cast.
-
A Soul equipped with a Constant Cast can’t be the target for another Cast.
-
When activating a Cast it is best practice to place the Cast on top of the Soul or Reaper Casting it.
